Executive Summary

Safeaux is a financial fitness platform founded in November 2021 and incorporated in January 2025. It started at Mountain Top University and is currently based in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. It helps individuals build strong financial habits through structured savings and financial management tools.
The platform was created in response to the common challenge faced by students and young people in managing funds effectively, often leading to early exhaustion of allowances before the next income cycle.
What started as a student-led savings initiative by Olurayi Otitonioluwa has grown into a platform, supported by a team of more than 15 members, offering organised savings plans and financial tools for goal-based growth.
As of 2024, with an estimated 1,500 students at Mountain Top University, approximately one in every twelve students uses SAFEAUX, while about two in every ten are aware of the platform.
Like a gym is to physical fitness, Safeaux is to financial fitness. We exist to help first students, and then every other individual, build financial muscles to create and live the lives they desire.
